For srs. I stopped reading them forever ago, though. One of my old Middle School buddies wrote some of the Kingdom Hearts ones. xD

I tend to rp online, mostly becouse it tends to be more available time-wise. Currently I play a MUD called Achaea and play DnD with a group irl. I prefer to play in person, but I find that online can be extremly intresting. It is certainly the only time where an imaginary personality can become dominant to my normal one.

Ahhh, it is definitely easier to get into a imaginary personality online, true. In person, you just kind've have to let yourself pretend you're online, or just dont give a flying f. I've heard stories from friend's campaigns where, during the time played, they totally get involved in their character and it makes for some great stories.
Who knew mistrials could be so fun =P.

It's all about being a good actor, really. Online, you're more of a writer- and some people are more comfortable with that. In person, it's acting, which I'm very comfortable with (I have extremely little stage fright). To each their own, really.

Well, whether you are writing or acting depends more on the time frame than anything. When I rp online, it is still real-time, so there is just as much acting as writing.

Ah, I see. It's just that in person, we often adopt voices, mannerisms, gesture, etc. so it feels more like acting to me.

heh, I don't think you have ever really played a MUD the. In any given situation, Im trying to remember the dang syntaxes for gestures and voice types, all whie trying to formulate a response that doesnt make me look like an ass

Oh, I've played a few MUDs. I see what you mean, but there's still some difference between typing out gestures and acting them out.
From my point of view, that's why online is more like writing, and in person more like acting. When online, you type- ie. write- what your character does. In person, you do, to a certain extent, what your character does.

Well, if you're going to suggest a change in topic- suggest a topic as well! Otherwise, we are cost off from our topic-boat, left adrift in the sea of conversation, with no rudder to steer with!

Hm... Favorite soda/pop/coke drink? Mine is pretty much anything that isn't "diet" or "zero." If I want something with no calories, I'll go eat lettuce or something.

There's more than one type of fanta. So do you love all of them equally, or do you have a secret mistress none of the others know about? Random note: Getting ceramic epoxy on your skin sucks

Oh yes, I tend to like the orange better than the rest. Although the other tastes also hold a certain appeal.
Also, I imagine ceramic epoxy on your skin does suck. How did this happen?

Lets just say, that when you're trying to squeeze epoxy out of a rather new looking tube, make sure that the tube has been punctured so that the epoxy can come out and not build under pressure. When i pierced it to open it, the stuff had a nice travel and settled on my fingers. Luckily they did not get glued together.

Heh. I remember one time, before my dad taught me what epoxy was, I glued my fingers together. That was a fun day.
*cough* As for soda, Mexican coke. It has real sugar! And flavor! It's amazing!

root beer is one of my default sodas of choice. Barq's > A&W. Nope. But now I want to try it. agreed. stupid stuff is expensive though. Go figure >.>. I've rather enjoyed the pepsi "throw back" products as they include real sugar in them now instead of artificial crapola.

Root beer is vomitous, Inca Kola tastes okay, and high fructose corn syrup tastes weird.
But diet coke is better than any coke, even the sugar one we get in Australia.
