The Meta thread (about the forum)

Since the comments back on the comic are flooded with posts about the forum, let's have ideas here.

I'll start:

• Good job Darkdrake, Serene and Sind! Excellent start. Minimal, unobtrusive ads, easy sign-up, and a style that fits the comic. I realize part of this comes as part and package of proboards, but still. Cheers!
  
• Have an "adult" section? Or just "possibly questionable" material- BCB does touch on more adult themes, such as sex, rape and death. Perhaps, just to avoid drama, some forums/threads could be marked "adult" and require registering/saying you're 18? I just want to avoid some parent getting offended about how we're corrupting her child.
  
• Have a sticky intro thread, where we lay out what's going on, any recent news, and what to do if you want to post/join? Some people seem to have trouble due to email, we could post a quick guide to setting up a free account.

Hmm, you have some very good ideas. :] And thanks for the congrats! It's really coming together, and Taeshi is mentioning it in the commentary on the next page. I'll talk some of these things over with the other admins.

I don't know how difficult this might be, but could it be set up so that members can set the forum time to match local time? It's a little confusing trying to figure out what time something was posted.
